Astronomy

Question 1: Really the only question I have ever gotten on astronomy. Is there any information on the moon that is useful?

Question 1: Is there any information on the moon that is useful? You know that you can get a nice map of the moon from. Google Moon.

If you are looking for more than just maps of the Moon, I have found two nice references for information about the moon. Have a look at these:

Moon Reference Program
Another Moon Reference Program
If you are like me and really don't need all that information about the moon, but just want to look at the moon and the stars, and whatever suits your fancy. I remember the first company, at least when I was a kid, to spark my interest was the Edmunds company. For me a burgeoning science geek, I relished the one yearly arrival of the Edmunds Scientific catalog. Of course, kids don't have to wait that long for anything like a catalog anymore...you can view it right online right now.

Interested in teaching your children about astronomy in a really fun way? Try a board game. Anytime you can make learning science fun, you are doing yourself and your child a world of good. Not to mention, reducing a whole lot of headaches at home.astronomyboard
